Avalon Accounting is a financial mentor providing strategic business consulting and is 100% Native American owned and operated by Kristina Haskell (Dinè/Hopi-Tewa).
Kristina is an accomplished Senior Executive with a demonstrated ability to deliver mission-critical results using strategic business concepts to nationally serve and empower small to corporate businesses, non-profits, and Tribal entities.
Over the last two decades, Kristina has enjoyed engaging with entrepreneurs, small businesses, corporations, not- for- profit organizations, municipalities, and governments in Indian County and beyond with project management, regulatory and consulting roles – with the City of Phoenix to the Navajo Nation have been rewardingly vast and enabled her to assist in helping them achieve their operative and financial goals.
Kristina has also been fortunate to assist and guide small and general business clients including LLC’s, Corporations, Partnerships, Sole-Proprietors and Non-profits. Some of these have risen from start-up to $20-$50 Million status.
Since 2002, Avalon has been serving first-generation entrepreneurs, small businesses to corporations, not-for-profit organizations, Tribes and governments in business structuring, accounting, tax, and financial services.
Kristina has served as a consultant for City of Phoenix MTA program creating structures for entrepreneurs throughout the City of Phoenix to manage growth and development.
Kristina is a recognized speaker for the Small Business Administration communicating the importance of financial literacy in the community, governments and Indian Country. Her experience also includes serving as a City of Phoenix Human Relations Commissioner to promote diversity in small business certification program and to ensure large city contracts benefit the community.
Additionally, Kristina was appointed in 2014 as Board Member for the Navajo Nation Gaming Board and served as the Board Secretary/Treasurer for six years. In 2021, Kristina will celebrate seven years of service with Navajo Gaming.

· Accounting, tax planning and business consulting – Governmental, Municipalities, Tribes.
These experiences have afforded Kristina a very unique relationship with Indian Country and first-generation entrepreneurs. She has spent more than half her life time (29 years) building relationships and serving the business community while helping others fulfill their dreams and visions successfully.
